Analytics account setup:-
If you have a google account like “gmail.com” then you can start your process to create a google analytics account. If you don’t have a Google acount then start to create Google Analytics(GA) account.
Now, we have a google account, so we go to Google analytics signup page and when you reach to the page you will see these step

Here, you can see three option to choose 1. Web 2. Apps 3. Apps & Web
As per your requirement choose the option then click on the “Next Button”.

Be careful while entering the information and when you confirmed that what you fill is correct then click on the finish button.
So, this the process to create a Google Analytics Account.

Now, go to your analytics account dashboard and you will an option in the bottom left corner “Admin”
When you click on the admin section, you will reach to a new page where you will find analytics related setting option.
In the above pic, you can see that we are in the Property ⇒ Tracking info ⇒ Tracking Code. Now copy the code and paste it in your website header section. If you don’t know that where is the header section you can download a WordPress plugin “Insert Headers and Footers”. If your website is a coding website then tell your website developer to put the code in the header section.

1. Account setting:- In the tab, you can set your name and you will get your Account ID & an option to set your business country.
2. Account User Management:- Here you can add a user or present user’s give permission like Edit, Collaborate, Read & Analyze, Manage Users.
3. All Filter:- Filter work is just like its name that means you can remove unwanted things from your analytics reports.

Types:- You can create a filter in two types- 1. Exclude 2. Include only
You can choose to include only or exclude traffic based on select source or destination are:-
ISP domain, IP addresses, Sub-directories & Hostname
Some info about these traffic source:-
ISP Domain:- When you will choose this option that means you are filter traffic from the ISP(Internet Service Provider). This option is mostly used in a big organisation or a big team.
IP Addresses:- This option is used when you are working in a small team and you want to filter that data of your team so that you can easily analyze real traffic so, you just need to know the IPs(Internet Protocol) of the device.
Sub-directories:- This is used when you want a report on the particular folder or page of your website.
Hostname:- This is used when you want a filter report based domain that means you can include or exclude data of the domain.
I will show you 2 predefined filters related ISP and IP:-
Filter Name: F1
Filter Type: Exclude
Traffic source: ISP Address
Expression: that are equal to

Filter Name: F2
Traffic Source: IP Address
Expression: that contain
IP address: 172.16.254.1
4. Change History:- Here, you will get notified if any changes are done in account, property, view.
5. Trash Can:- Here, you will get data which is deleted data just like your PC “Recycle Bin”.
You can create 50 website property in one account. Here you will find the option of

1. Property Setting:- In this setting tab you can see & set basic settings(like tracking ID, username set up, default URL, etc), Advanced setting(you can integrate your Google Ads report with your analytics), etc.

3. Tracking Info:- In this tab, you will get many options related tracking like Tracking Code, Data Collection, Data Retention, User-ID, Session Settings, etc.
Tracking code:- You will get a tracking code which we have previously submitted in your website.
Data Collection:- You can choose the option to store data of your website activity.
Data Retention:- You can choose the option of the retention period for data, the minimum data retention period is 26 months and the maximum is unlimited.
