Therefore, google also follow some rule that how people like your web page & how useful your website content and by use of that data Google will provide your website ranking.

All this thing will possible when you do proper SEO. In this on-page SEO blog, I am going to tell some essential thing that is very useful for on-page SEO work and it will also help you in off-page SEO for better result.

What is on-page SEO? definition.

On-page SEO is a method that we applied to our website to get a higher rank. In On-page SEO, basically, we work on website content, links, Alt-text, heading, website design, HTML code. And on-page SEO is done separately on every page of your website and also when you write any blog you need to do the same work.

Why on-page SEO is important?

On-page is SEO very important if you want an organic ranking. By doing on-page SEO, you can get the desired ranking and this work gives you a consistent result.

One important thing, about on-page SEO, is that on-page SEO  still work in 2020  on the traditional method so if you learn SEO then you can use that method for a long time and while doing SEO.

We have learned that what is on-page SEO and why it is important? Now I will tell you some important thing that you can use while you do on-page SEO.

While you do on-page SEO of any page or blog your priority is to find the keyword and write a related article. If you have successfully done these two things then your next work is to optimize the page but everyone is not aware of every google algorithm, so they use an SEO plugin for optimization.

So, if you are using any SEO plugin like Yoast SEO, Rank Math SEO, All in one SEO, etc. these are different SEO plugins, but they work on the same rule that is Google Algorithm, therefore, you always have seen that after every Google Algorithm updates these plugins also gives update version notification.

While you do on-page SEO through any plugin, that plugin shows you problem name that what is the problem on your page and when you fix that you will complete your on-page optimization.

How do you need to create content?

While you create any content the first thing you need to decide is what type of content you wanted to create after that start doing keyword research because a keyword is a key for your page ranking like if you will not choose the right keyword then most probably your blog will not rank. So choose a proper keyword that matches to your content and try to use LSI keyword.

After keyword research, start to write a blog and the blog must be more than 600 words long if you want your blog ranking. Short length blogs also rank but for that, you need to have traffic. Low-content pages across the web, which Google addressed especially with its 2011 algorithm update as Panda.

This algorithm replaces low-quality or thin content pages, which resulted in more satisfactory pages taking the pinnacle spots of the SERPs. In the present time, google promote those pages which have good content and down the ranking of that pages which have thin content.

Don’t use Plagiarism content

Plagiarism content is that content that appears on the Internet in a couple of places. That “one place” is described as a location with a unique internet site address (URL) – so, if the equal content appears more than one internet address, that is called plagiarism content.

Google will not penalise your website through any legal action but filter the page by checking the canonical tag on that page URL and google find copy content then hide that copy content page.

Keyword use in your Content or Keyword Density
  1. Use your Focus Keyword in the SEO title. Make sure the focus keyword appears in the SEO post title too.
  2. Focus Keyword used inside SEO Meta Description(while you write short description use your focus keyword).
  3. Focus Keyword used in the URL.
  4. The first 10% of the content should contain the Focus Keyword preferably at the beginning.
  5. Focus Keyword found in the content(Use the focus keyword in your content in proper ration).
Keyword stuffing

Like, I said you need to use keyword but also careful that do not use the focus keyword so many times, because this keyword stuffing technique is known as the black hat SEO, if you will use focus keyword so many times for ranking then after some time Google will automatically down the ranking of your blog by its algorithm rule.

Use of Headings

While you write any letter or easy or any answer in your copy at that time you use heading to highlight that question or answer. Like that here you also need to use headings to specify the topic. There are 6 types of heading H₁, H₂, …, H₆.

We use only one H₁ heading in a page.

Use of Links

mainly there are two types of links

1. Internal links

2. External links

  1. While we write a blog or create any page we link that page or blog with other related page or blog which already exists that is called an internal link.
  2. When we link any page or blog to others website blog or page then that is called external link.

Use of picture & Alt text

While you create any blog try to use at least one picture that represents your blog because not everyone interested in reading a blog but if your image is unique then most probably people will look at once to your blog.

What is Alt-text?

Alt-text is the code that we used to give a name to the picture like if you create a blog and its focus keyword is “What is On-page SEO” then you also use this keyword while giving a name to that image because this will easy for the crawler to relate the image to the blog.

If you understand these things then congratulation to you that you have complete your basic level of learning and if you have a suggestion for me or query for you then write a comment.  We will love to respond to your comment. Thank you so much for reading this what is op-page SEO.
